My family & I moved to CA in 1964, into the house in which I currently live with my elderly mother. Although I did the typical thing of going off after high school, living here & there, I was always drawn back to this sweet 1923 house. Lots more to tell about the 4 generations that have been here since 19

I got this sign in Las Vegas (2001) at the Coca Cola Museum on the strip. A reproduction, so it's not strictly antique, but it goes well with the other signs that are vintage.

Three of the handmade, and LOVINGLY made, family Christmas stockings my mom made from the 1950's to the early 1970's. Every family member has one with his/her name on it, and there's a special box stored away with the ones of relatives who are now passed away.

My brother (now age 67) painted this tray for our mother when he was about 5.

I found this onion jar, hidden away in a remote cupboard, while cleaning recently. Vintage?

Another sign I found when antiquing with a friend. It's on the wall with the coffee, Pepsi, and Coca Cola signs.

My mom found this years ago, long-forgotten, in one of our kitchen drawers. Notice the "Made in Canada by Canadians." I should research & find out when this might have been reproduced.

See the image to the left, of the waxed tissue. Same vintage, or a bit later, maybe?

My mom made these in late 1950's, and are always put out with the Christmas decorations.

A nice find - and a good standard to live by, don't you think? Always good.
One of the signs I've put in my kitchen. I found this last summer in a shop in Pomona.
